Geung-Kroeker Lee
Originally from Seoul, South Korea and based in Winnipeg, Canada, Geung Kroeker-Lee (이기웅) teaches middle and senior school music at St. John’s-Ravenscourt School, where he is implementing an innovative music curriculum rooted in cultural relevance and student creativity. Previously, Geung served as Artistic Director of Prairie Voices as part of the Prairie Voices Inc. family of choirs. Geung holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Manitoba, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia.

Laura Hawley
Laura Hawley is a Canadian composer, conductor, pianist, and educator known for her compelling approach to musical leadership and artistic programming, community engagement, distinctive compositional style, and passionate advocacy for Canadian choral art.
Currently residing in Edmonton, she is artistic director of Da Camera Singers (Edmonton), conductor of ChandraTala (Edmonton), and pianist/singer with the Canadian Chamber Choir. Laura is also the founding artistic director of Hypatia’s Voice Women’s Choir (Ottawa), and engages with ensembles throughout Canada including CAMMAC, Music & Beyond (Ottawa), Coastal Sound, Cantiamo Choirs, Ottawa Children’s Choir, Choral Canada, and the provincial choral federations. She has taught at the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, and Concordia University (Edmonton). |
Katerina Gimon
Named as one of Canada's ‘hot 30 classical musicians under 30’ by the CBC; composer, improviser, and vocalist Katerina Gimon's uniquely dynamic, poignant, and eclectic compositional style is rapidly gaining her a reputation as one of the most distinctive emerging voices in contemporary Canadian composition and beyond. Katerina’s music has been described as “sheer radiance” (Campbell River Mirror), “imbued...with human emotion” (San Diego Story), and capable of taking listeners on a “fascinating journey of textural discovery” (Ludwig Van). Her music draws inspiration from myriad of influences -- from Eastern European folk music to indie rock, as well as from her roots as a songwriter. Katerina is currently the composer-in-residence for female vocal ensemble Myriad as well as the Canadian Men's Chorus and is primarily based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
